Empathy. Compassion. Understanding.

You deserve these in every relationship you have –
including the one you have with your therapist.

Meet Ania

I’m a marriage and family therapist licensed in Minnesota, lawyer (non-practicing), registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), and certified EMDR therapist. I help  women work through trauma, self-esteem, and self-worth issues. And I help couples work through relationship challenges, resentments, and old unwanted patterns.  In therapy, I provide a calm space without judgement. Others describe me as open, perceptive and easy to speak with.

Clients come to me looking for a compassionate, direct, and no-nonsense relationship therapist, someone who sees the good in you and your relationships, who offers a safe place to process your thoughts and feelings, and who may challenge you to look at things through different lenses.

My place in our therapy relationship is to help you tap into and develop the power that lies within you, so you can create the life and the relationships you want.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is driven by you and your goals. After all, you are the expert in your life! (Even though it may not feel like that at times.)  In out time together, I use EMDR therapy, attachment models and mindfulness to help address the origin of the challenges that are bringing you to relationship therapy – so you can experience genuine, long-lasting changes.

Am I the right therapist for you?

I work best with clients who are ready for change, and who are ready to commit to therapy and the emotional work it takes to get the life and relationships they dream of.

If that’s you, let’s talk! Schedule a free consultation with me, so we can determine if we’re a good fit. If we are, we’ll schedule your initial session to begin our work together. And if we’re not, I can refer you to one of the talented therapists in my network.

Last few details

I earned a BA in Psychology from Colgate University (NY), JD from William Mitchell College of Law, and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University. Polish is my native language. When not doing therapy, I live with my family, our fluffy cat, and an (almost) equally fluffy dog in a northern suburb. I read a lot, bake (especially in Winter), enjoy good Indian food and Polish bigos.
